BONIDE Sucker Punch® provides a fast and easy way to prevent and control unwanted plant suckers and sprouts. This growth regulator can be applied to the base of trees and shrubs, the canopy, and the trunk. With a water-based paraffin wax emulsion of ethyl 1-naphthaleneacetate, this product lasts up to 6 months once applied. It’s an excellent tool for promoting the growth and development of strong, well-spaced branches that resist wind and ice damage, improve spray penetration for enhanced insect and disease control, and allow better light penetration for overall growth. Sucker Punch is ideal for controlling sprouts and sucker growth on apples, olives, pears, non-bearing citrus, and ornamental woody plants. It also includes a brush applicator for easier, more controlled application. Always use according to the label instructions.
